Lab Description

Prevention of information security incidents requires the systematic elicitation, evaluation and regular assessment of security requirements and controls. This lab teaches basic concepts regarding the life cycle of security requirements (including information security risk management).
Participants work with the ADAMANT tool (provided) on a SME case study to train the contents of this lab in a near-world setting.

Structure: Presentation, interactive case studies, exercises with laptops
Required Skills: Basic understanding of information security, interest in information security management
Required Equipment: Laptop required

About the Expert

Michael Brunner has studied Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck and currently works on his PhD Thesis in the area of information security management and information security risk analysis.
He leads the development of the ADAMANT framework for efficient information security, data privacy and compliance management.
